I had worked with the amazing director Orlando von Einsiedel on another film, The Walk. While he was finalizing the cut of The Lost Children—an incredible documentary about four Indigenous children stranded in Colombian Amazon after a plane crash—he reached out to see if I would do a bit of story consulting.
The film blew me away. Its skillful use of re-creations seamlessly blended with archival footage to tell this complex story. Just days after premiering on Netflix, it’s already the #2 film on Netflix US!
