In 2004, Dan Crane moved to LA to work with Morgan Neville (Tremolo Productions) doing film-to-digital transfers, production audio and composing music for several documentaries; but the origin of Crane’s obsession with documentaries can be traced to Air Guitar Nation, a film in which he accidentally found himself starring. In 2019, Crane began working with Matt Tyrnauer (Altimeter Films) on The End of the World, about Bennington College in the ’80s.
Since then, he’s worked as a writer/director/producer with Kennedy/Marshall Documentaries, Wavelength Productions, Participant, Grain Media, Radical Media, Uninterrupted/Spring Hill, and One Planet One Future.
